We provide advocacy services for individuals who use council, private, or charitable health and social care services.

Our advocates have a wealth of experience in supporting clients with diverse and complex health and social care needs. We are committed to ensuring that our clients are fully informed, empowered, and able to make decisions about their care and support.

Independent Advocacy services

At Human Services Consultancy, we offer a range of advocacy services to support our clients, including:

Planned Advocacy Services

Our planned advocacy services are tailored to the individual needs and goals of our clients. Our advocates work closely with you to understand your concerns and develop a customized plan to address them. We provide support to individuals with a range of needs, including enduring mental health matters, learning difficulties, physical difficulties, younger adults, older people, and people with sensory, sight, or hearing loss.

Virtual Advocacy Services

We offer virtual advocacy services that can be accessed remotely, providing a flexible and convenient option for clients who may have difficulty accessing traditional services. Our virtual advocacy services include video conferencing, phone calls, and email communication.

Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA)

Our IMCA service is designed to support individuals who lack capacity and do not have anyone else to represent their best interests. Our IMCA advocates work closely with the individual and relevant professionals to ensure that the individual’s rights and interests are protected.

Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA)

Our IMHA service is designed to support individuals who are detained under the Mental Health Act. Our IMHA advocates work closely with the individual to ensure that they understand their rights and are able to participate in decisions about their care and treatment.

Care Act Advocacy

Our Care Act advocacy service is designed to support individuals who are going through the care and support planning process. Our advocates work closely with the individual to ensure that their needs are fully assessed, and that their views and preferences are taken into account.

A: Yes, advocacy services are confidential. The advocate will not share any information without the individual’s consent, except in circumstances where there is a risk of harm to the individual or others.
